Scott grew up as a farm boy in China and moved to the US when he was 16. Caught in culture shock when he arrived in the US, Scott found that as he learned and adjusted to the new culture and its environment, “something ignited” and instilled in him a desire to pursue something in this New World he would never have dared even to think about in his past life in China--giving Scott personal experiences to draw from for his acting in this film. Scott has since added filmmaking and writing to his resume, along with continued work acting in noted independent films in Hong Kong, as well as in the US. Scott previously wrote, directed, and starred in “Freakin Night.” Currently Scott is looking for funding to produce his next two films, also written by him, “Illegal Alien” and “Dark Sky.” Scott previously starred in the feature film “Miss Wonton” (Sundance Film Festival 2001).
