April 7, 2006: “The Projectionist” won awards for Art Direction and Producing, the Carl Lerner Award for Film with Social Significance, and was a Wasserman/King finalist at this year’s NYU First Run Film Festival. NYU will now take the film to screen at the DGA theater in Los Angeles in mid-June with the other finalists.
March 12, 2006: “The Projectionist” will make its world premiere at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival, running April 25 to May 7. “The Projectionist” will screen in the Something for Nothing shorts program, which has four showings over the course of the festival.
